The ISCAR 5606601 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI designation ONMU 080608-TN in manufacturer grade IC810. The insert features an octagon shape with a neutral hand orientation and a negative rake geometry at 26 degrees. It is coated with an AlTiCrN and TiN multilayer finish applied via PVD Sumotec process, providing wear resistance in demanding cutting operations. With 16 usable cutting edges on a double-sided body, this insert is suited for face milling and shoulder milling applications. It is installed by machinists and toolroom professionals in CNC machining centers wherever tool economy and edge life on ferrous materials are priorities.
