Product Description

The ISCAR 5606473 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI designation ADKT 150564R-HM in the IC830 grade. It features a parallelogram insert shape with an 85-degree included angle, a positive 20-degree rake angle, and a honed cutting edge style. The dual-layer AlTiN and TiN coating is applied via PVD under ISCAR Sumotec classification, delivering heat and wear resistance suited to high-productivity milling. Two cutting edges are available per insert. It is held in the cutter body by a screw-clamp method and is designed for right-hand cutting. The insert belongs to the HELIMILL series and is intended for installation by machinists and tooling technicians on CNC milling platforms.

This insert is engineered for milling steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium — workpiece material codes P, M, and S. The HM chip breaker geometry supports efficient chip evacuation in these materials at moderate to aggressive depths of cut up to 0.512 inches (13.20 mm).
