The ISCAR 5606349 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI designation H600 WXCU 05T312T IC830. It belongs to the HELI6FEED series and is engineered for high-feed milling operations in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. The insert features a trigon (80-degree included angle) WXCU style body with a negative rake geometry and a T-Land cutting edge style. It is finished with an AlTiN and TiN dual-layer coating applied via PVD process under ISCAR Sumotec classification, providing thermal resistance and wear protection. Six usable cutting edges and a double-sided design maximize tool life per insert.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician using the appropriate torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw - ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before handling inserts.
