The ISCAR 5604325 is a solid carbide milling insert with ANSI designation LNET 083504-TN-N in grade IC928. It belongs to the TANGSLOT series and is designed for high-performance slotting and milling operations. The insert features a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, providing wear resistance and thermal stability in demanding cutting environments. The butterfly-shaped insert has a neutral hand orientation, a negative rake geometry, and a T-Land cutting edge style with a relief angle of 0 degrees. With 4 cutting edges and a corner radius of 0.0157 inches, it is suited for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC milling equipment.
This insert is intended for machining steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium, covering ISO material codes P, M, and S. It is compatible with the ETS-LN08 and FDN-LN08 cutter series. The TN chip breaker geometry and single-sided configuration make it a direct-fit replacement in TANGSLOT tooling systems used in production and job-shop milling applications. It is held in place by a screw clamping method, which is standard on tangential-style insert toolholders.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard insert-change procedures on CNC or manual milling machines. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surfaces for debris or damage before installing a new insert.
