The ISCAR 5603643 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the manufacturer designation LNAT 150632PN-N MM IC928. It belongs to the TANGMILL series and features a butterfly (LNAT) insert shape with a double-sided, neutral-hand design that provides four usable cutting edges per insert. The insert is coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, which extends tool life when cutting ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. Key dimensions include an inscribed circle of 0.2360 inches, a thickness of 0.5460 inches, and an effective cutting edge length of 0.5906 inches. The corner radius measures 0.1260 inches (3.20 mm), and the maximum depth of cut is 0.2760 inches (7.00 mm). The cutting edge is honed with a negative rake and zero relief angle. This insert is intended for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium, covering ISO material groups P, M, and S.
