The ISCAR 5603362 is a chamfer replaceable milling tip from the Multimaster MM HCD series, designed for modular milling tool systems used in precision metal cutting operations. This carbide tip features a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 90-degree lead angle and an included angle of 140 degrees. Manufactured from sub-micrograin carbide with a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, it carries the IC908 manufacturer grade. The tip accommodates a maximum depth of cut of 0.181 inches (4.6 mm) and a cutting diameter of 0.059 inches. Installation and replacement are performed by machinists and CNC tooling technicians in production and job-shop environments.
This tip is suited for milling applications across a broad range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials (ISO material codes P, M, K, N, S, H). The right-hand cutting geometry and two-flute configuration make it appropriate for chamfering, edge-breaking, and angular milling operations on CNC machining centers and milling machines where a modular Multimaster-style toolholder is in use. It conforms to ANSI standards and does not include a chipbreaker or coolant-through capability.
Designed for use with Multimaster MM HCD series modular toolholders, insert size 104-090. Compatible with workpiece materials coded P, M, K, N, S, and H per ISO classification, covering steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
Replaceable milling tips of this type are installed and removed by trained machinists or CNC tooling technicians following the toolholder manufacturer's assembly procedure. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tips. Use only the recommended torque wrench or key specified for the Multimaster system to seat the tip properly. Inspect the mating surfaces of the toolholder for chips or contamination before seating the replacement tip.
