The ISCAR 5602375 is a solid carbide milling insert with ANSI designation ADKT 150524R-HM in grade IC928. Designed for the HELIMILL series of milling cutters, this right-hand, single-sided insert features a parallelogram shape with an 85-degree included angle and a positive rake geometry. The PVD-applied TiAlN coating delivers heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. With a 0.377-inch inscribed circle, 0.220-inch thickness, and a 0.614-inch length, the insert is held in place by a screw-lock method and provides two cutting edges per insert.
This insert is intended for use in professional machining environments on mills equipped with compatible HELIMILL-series cutter bodies. It is well suited for face milling, shoulder milling, and high-productivity roughing applications on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium workpieces. The HM chip breaker geometry supports controlled chip evacuation across these material groups. Typical users include CNC machinists and toolroom professionals working in production, aerospace, and general metalworking shops.
Designed for use with ISCAR HELIMILL-series cutter bodies in the ETS, FTS, ADK, and E90 cutter series. Meets ANSI and ISO 13399 standards. Material grade classifications C1, C2, C5, and C6 apply. Workpiece material codes P (steel), M (stainless steel), and S (superalloys and titanium) are supported per the supplier specification.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician following the cutter body manufacturer's torque and seating procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the cutter body is secured before handling or replacing inserts. Inspect the pocket seating surface for chips or debris before installing the insert to ensure full contact and accurate indexing. Follow all applicable shop safety protocols when handling sharp carbide inserts.
