The ISCAR 5602133 is a solid carbide milling insert designed for face and shoulder milling operations in the MILL2000 series tooling system. Carrying the ANSI designation 3M AXKT 2006PDTR IC950, this single-sided, right-hand insert features a parallelogram shape with an 85-degree included angle and a positive rake geometry. The IC950 grade substrate is coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, providing wear resistance and thermal stability when cutting steel and cast iron. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.787 inches (20.19 mm) and a cutting edge effective length of 0.795 inches, this insert delivers consistent performance in demanding milling applications. Installation and cutter loading are handled by a screw-holding method.
This insert is suited for milling steel and cast iron workpieces in both production and job-shop environments. The PDTR chip breaker geometry promotes controlled chip evacuation during moderate to heavy cuts. The positive rake face reduces cutting forces, making it appropriate for applications where spindle load and vibration must be managed. It is compatible with the 3M AX20 cutter series and is sized to the 2006 insert code, fitting holders designed for that envelope. Machinists and tooling specialists working on CNC machining centers will find this insert applicable to a range of P45 and K40 material grade applications.

This insert is secured using a screw-holding method; use the appropriate torx or hex key as specified by the cutter body manufacturer when seating the insert. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing inserts. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or damage before installing a new insert. Handle carbide inserts carefully to avoid chipping the cutting edge prior to use.
