Product Description

The ISCAR 5602118 is a solid carbide milling insert designed for use in 90-degree shoulder milling applications. It carries the IC328 manufacturer grade and features a TiCN coating applied via a PVD process, which improves wear resistance and edge integrity at elevated cutting temperatures. The insert measures 0.5000 inches in diameter (inscribed circle) and 0.2130 inches thick. With 8 cutting edges per insert and a positive rake geometry, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. The RM chip breaker geometry and T-Land cutting edge style make it well suited for moderate to aggressive material removal rates across a range of workpiece materials.
