The ISCAR 5601339 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation ADKT 1505PDTR-76 in manufacturer grade IC328. It is a single-sided, right-hand parallelogram-style insert designed for use in helical milling cutter bodies. The TiCN coating is applied via PVD process, providing wear resistance suited to interrupted and continuous cuts. Key dimensional values include an inscribed circle of 0.376 inches, a thickness of 0.222 inches, and a cutting edge effective length of 0.547 inches. Maximum depth of cut reaches 0.472 inches. The insert features a positive rake geometry with a T-Land cutting edge style and a 1.00 mm corner radius, balancing edge strength with chip evacuation in demanding milling operations.
This insert is intended for face milling, shoulder milling, and helical interpolation applications on machining centers and CNC milling platforms. It is engineered for cutting steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium — material application codes P, M, and S — making it a practical choice in aerospace, energy, and general metalworking production environments. The chip breaker designation is 76. The insert is held in the cutter body by a screw-type clamping method, which is standard practice in HELIMILL-platform tooling.
