Product Description

The ISCAR 5600621 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designations ADKT 150516R-HM IC28. It is a single-sided, right-hand parallelogram insert engineered for use in HELIMILL series milling toolholders. The IC28 grade is an uncoated, bright-finish carbide suited for cutting non-ferrous metals. With a positive rake geometry and a honed cutting edge, it promotes clean chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. Two cutting edges per insert are available, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.472 inches and a cutting edge effective length of 0.545 inches. The insert is secured in the cutter body by screw clamping.

This insert is designed primarily for milling non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and its alloys, as classified by workpiece material code N. It is suitable for face milling, shoulder milling, and related operations in both production shop and job-shop environments. Compatible cutter series include ETS, FTS, ADK, and E90 bodies within the HELIMILL platform. The HM chip breaker geometry supports stable chip control in high-feed and high-speed non-ferrous applications. Installation Notes
