The ISCAR 5567961 is a solid carbide replaceable tip drill in the HCP-IQ series, designed for precision hole-making in ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. The tip features a 13.11 mm (33/64 inch, 0.5161 inch decimal) cutting diameter with a self-centering 134-degree drill point and a web-thinned geometry for reduced thrust and improved entry accuracy. The TiAlN PVD coating delivers heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. This tip is installed into a compatible HCP-IQ drill body and is serviced by licensed machinists and CNC tooling specialists in production machining operations.
The 5567961 tip is suited for hole-making, chamfering, and drilling operations on steel, cast iron, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It carries ISO material grade designations P, K, M, S, and H, covering a wide range of workpiece materials encountered in general machining, aerospace component work, and tool rooms. The helical flute design and regular spiral promote chip evacuation in through and blind hole applications. This tip is sized for an HCP-IQ insert seat size 13 body and conforms to ISO 13399 tooling data standards.
Designed for use with compatible HCP-IQ series drill bodies accepting insert seat size 13. The ISO number for this tip is HCP 131-IQ. Intended for use in CNC machining centers and drill presses where replaceable-tip modular drilling systems are employed. Coolant-through is not supported by this tip.
This replaceable tip is installed and removed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling personnel following the drill body manufacturer's clamping torque and seating procedures. Ensure the drill body bore and seating surfaces are clean and free of chips before installing the tip. Always disengage spindle power and lock the machine before changing tips. Follow shop safety protocols and tool manufacturer guidelines for handling carbide cutting tools.
