The ISCAR 5567351 is a solid carbide replaceable tip drill in the HCP-IQ series, designed for high-productivity drilling in steel, cast iron, and related ferrous materials. The tip measures 0.709 inches in cutting diameter with a functional length of 0.230 inches and an overall height of 0.413 inches. It carries an IC908 submicron carbide grade with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, which supports heat resistance and edge durability in demanding drilling operations. The 137-degree self-centering drill point eliminates the need for a center drill in most setups. Two slow-spiral flutes and a web-thinned geometry reduce thrust and improve chip flow. Licensed HVAC, machining, and toolroom professionals install this tip as a direct replacement in compatible HCP-IQ drill bodies.
The 5567351 replaceable tip is suited for deep-hole and self-centering drilling applications in ferrous workpieces. Primary workpiece materials are steel (ISO P) and cast iron (ISO K). Secondary applications include stainless steel (ISO M), super-alloys and titanium (ISO S), and hard materials (ISO H). The tip seats into an 18mm insert seat on the HCP-IQ drill body using a twist-lock holding method. This makes it appropriate for CNC machining centers and production drilling environments where tip changeout speed and consistent hole geometry are critical. No coolant-through capability is present on this tip.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Before changing the tip, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out per applicable shop safety procedures. Seat the tip into the drill body using the twist-lock method and verify the tip is fully engaged before running. Do not exceed the cutting parameters specified for the IC908 grade and HCP-IQ body combination in the manufacturer tooling guide.
