Product Description

The ISCAR 5566750 is a VNMG332-M3M geometry turning insert in grade IC806, designed for precision turning of superalloys and titanium. It is manufactured from submicron solid carbide and coated with TiAlN via a PVD process using ISCARs proprietary SumoTec coating technology. The insert features a 35-degree diamond shape (V), a positive rake geometry, and an M3M chip breaker optimized for chip control in difficult-to-machine materials. With an inscribed circle of 0.375 inches, an insert length of 0.654 inches (16.61 mm), and a corner radius of 0.031 inches (1/32 inch), this insert is built for stable, repeatable performance in demanding turning applications. It is installed by machinists and CNC turning specialists on indexable toolholders.

This insert is suited for turning centers and CNC lathes where superalloys such as Inconel, Hastelloy, and similar S-grade materials, as well as titanium alloys, are the primary workpiece materials.
