The ISCAR 5566714 is a replaceable carbide drill tip in the ICM series, designed for indexable drilling systems that use a clamp-style insert seat. The tip measures 0.2560 inches (7.00 mm) in cutting diameter with a 140-degree point angle, a helical flute geometry, and a web-thinned point for reduced thrust and improved chip evacuation. The substrate is solid carbide at submicron grain size, finished with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating. Seat size is 6.5, conforming to ISO 13399. This insert is installed and replaced by toolroom machinists and CNC machine operators performing precision hole-making operations in demanding materials.
