The ISCAR 5508434 is a carbide replaceable tip drill in the ICM series, designed for high-productivity hole-making in demanding materials. The tip carries an IC908 submicron carbide grade with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, delivering hardness and heat resistance needed when cutting stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. The 140-degree included angle with a thinned web point reduces thrust and improves centering at entry. A slow spiral, two-flute geometry with T-Land style edge prep rounds out the cutting geometry. The tip measures 0.571 inches in cutting diameter and 0.321 inches in height, with a functional cutting length of 0.234 inches. Installation and tip changes are handled by licensed machinists or tooling technicians in CNC and manual drilling operations.

Installation Notes
