The ISCAR 5508337 is a replaceable solid carbide drill tip designed for use with ISCAR ICP-series modular drilling systems. Measuring 0.3780 inches (10.00 mm) in cutting diameter, this tip features a 140-degree point angle with a standard point type and helical fluting. The IC908 grade substrate is a submicron carbide coated via PVD with TiAlN, delivering wear resistance and thermal stability in demanding hole-making applications. The tip seats into an insert seat size 9 holder using a clamp holding method. It is installed and replaced by machinists and tooling technicians working in production or job-shop environments.

This tip is suited for drilling and chamfering operations primarily in steel, with secondary capability in stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
