The ISCAR 5508103 is a DCMT-style solid carbide turning insert designed for precision external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. It carries the IC8250 manufacturer grade with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN, which provides wear resistance and thermal stability during continuous and interrupted cuts. The insert has a 55-degree diamond shape, a positive rake geometry, and an SM chip breaker configuration. Installation Notes
