The ISCAR 5507352 is a solid carbide turning insert in the VCMT 221-SM geometry, manufactured under the IC907 grade within the Isoturn series. It features a PVD-applied dual coating of TiN and TiAlN, which supports hardness and heat resistance during interrupted and continuous turning operations. The insert measures 11.1 mm (0.437 inches) in length with a 0.25 inch inscribed circle and a 0.016 inch corner radius. The 35-degree diamond shape with positive rake and a 7-degree relief angle makes it suited for moderate to light material removal.
