Product Description

The ISCAR 5507339 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CNMX style, designed for high-performance external turning operations on CNC lathes. It carries the IC9250 manufacturer grade with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN, which provides wear resistance and heat management at the cutting zone. The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape, a 0.5-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/32-inch corner radius. It belongs to the Heliturn LD series and includes a wiper edge geometry for improved surface finish. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert in clamp- or pin-style toolholders matched to the CNMX seat configuration.
