The ISCAR 5505858 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CNMG 432-WG geometry, part of the Isoturn series. It carries a dual PVD coating of TiN and TiAlN under the IC907 manufacturer grade, which is suited for a wide range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless, cast iron, non-ferrous, heat-resistant alloys, and hardened materials. The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape, a 0.5-inch inscribed circle, a 1/32-inch corner radius, and a WG wiper-edge chip breaker.
