The ISCAR 4511476 is an ER25 collet chuck designed for use in CNC machining centers and milling applications requiring precise tool holding with through-coolant capability. The chuck accepts ER25-series collets with a clamping range of 1 mm to 16 mm (0.0394 to 0.6299 inches), covering a wide range of tool shank sizes. It mounts via a BT40 taper shank and features a projection of 3.937 inches (100 mm) from the spindle face to the collet nose. The nose diameter measures 1.6535 inches (42 mm). Balanced to 20,000 RPM, this chuck is suited for high-speed spindle applications where runout control and coolant delivery are critical. Installation and removal are performed by qualified CNC machine operators or toolroom technicians.
This collet chuck is intended for use in BT40-spindle CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The ER25 collet system is a widely adopted standard in production and job-shop environments for end mills, drills, reamers, and taps within the 1 mm to 16 mm diameter range. The through-coolant design routes coolant directly through the spindle and chuck body to the cutting tool, improving chip evacuation and tool life in drilling and milling operations. The 3.937-inch projection accommodates moderate reach requirements in fixturing and part-geometry situations where a standard-length chuck is appropriate.
Designed for use in BT40-spindle CNC machining centers accepting ER25 collets with tool shank diameters from 1 mm to 16 mm. Compatible with through-spindle coolant systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC toolroom technician or machine operator. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or removing the chuck. Use the correct BT40 pull stud and a calibrated torque wrench on the retention knob per the machine tool manufacturer specifications. Inspect the taper and chuck bore for contamination or damage before seating the chuck to prevent runout or balance issues at speed.
