The ISCAR 3401305 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining environments. It features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 3 inch length of cut, and a 6 inch overall length. The four-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A TiAlCN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-speed or dry machining applications. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals in production and job shop settings.
This end mill is suited for general-purpose and high-performance milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The variable index flute geometry reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts, making it appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation before initiating a cutting program.
