The ISCAR 3399171 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling of non-ferrous metals. It features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 0.015 inch corner radius, and a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, making it well-suited for both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) PVD coating reduces friction and built-up edge when cutting aluminum, copper, brass, and similar materials. Three right-hand spiral flutes with a coarse pitch promote efficient chip evacuation. The extended reach design and straight-cylindrical shank fit standard toolholders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills.

This end mill is intended for use on non-ferrous workpieces in both production shop and job shop environments. The center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional and climb milling.
