The ISCAR 3398541 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/4 inch diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut, a 38-degree helix angle, and a TiAlCN coating for extended tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. The submicron carbide grade substrate adds toughness and wear resistance. With 5 flutes and a variable index design, this end mill delivers improved surface finish and reduced chatter compared to standard 4-flute tools. Right-hand cutting and right-hand spiral flute direction are standard. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for finish and semi-finish milling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials in CNC machining centers.
