The ISCAR 3398044 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill from the ECI-4-VF series, engineered for demanding material removal in both roughing and finishing operations. It features a 3/4-inch cutting diameter, a 0.015-inch corner radius, and four flutes with a variable index geometry that reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. The tool carries a PVD-applied AlTiCrSiN coating for extended wear resistance at elevated temperatures. At 3 inches overall length with a 7/8-inch length of cut, this is a short-series tool optimized for rigidity. A straight-cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance ensures consistent runout in precision toolholders.
This end mill is rated for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, S, and H. The right-hand spiral flutes and right-hand cutting direction make it compatible with standard CNC machining centers and manual mills.
