The ISCAR 3105272 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. Built on the Helido series platform, this tool features a 90-degree lead angle and helical flute geometry that supports efficient chip evacuation and consistent surface finish on square-shoulder cuts. The cutter accepts four indexable inserts held by screw-mount retention and is manufactured from solid carbide. Through-coolant capability allows coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone, reducing heat buildup during extended cuts. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, general manufacturing, and job-shop environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for square-shoulder milling applications where a true 90-degree wall angle is required. The Helido series geometry supports ramping, helical interpolation, and face milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive engagement in standard end mill holders, making this tool compatible with vertical machining centers and horizontal mills equipped with appropriate toolholding. Verify insert seating and screw torque per the ISCAR insert installation guidelines before beginning any cut.
