The ISCAR 3102476 is a replaceable tip milling shank in the Multimaster series, designed for use with modular milling tool assemblies in precision machining operations. This straight shank features a 90-degree stepped configuration with a T08 neck thread, allowing secure attachment of Multimaster cutting heads. The shank is machined from steel and includes coolant-through capability, directing cutting fluid directly to the cutting zone for improved chip evacuation and tool life. With a 0.500-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 3.540 inches, this unit is sized for standard tool holders in CNC milling centers. It is installed by machinists and tooling technicians in production and job shop environments.
This shank is suited for milling applications on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers where modular tooling systems are in use. The Multimaster system allows quick head changes without removing the shank from the spindle, reducing downtime in high-mix machining operations. The coolant-through design makes it appropriate for difficult-to-machine materials where thermal management at the cutting edge is critical. The toolholder style is MM S-A, and the manufacturers catalog number is MM S-A-L3.50-C.500-T08.
Compatible with ISCAR Multimaster series cutting heads using a T08 neck thread interface. Toolholder style MM S-A. Designed for use in CNC milling setups accepting a 0.500-inch straight shank.
Installation and tooling changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine in a locked-out, de-energized state per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the shank bore and mating surfaces are clean and free of chips before assembly. Verify torque specifications for the cutting head connection per the ISCAR Multimaster assembly guidelines supplied with the tooling system. Coolant-through ports should be checked for obstruction prior to resuming operation.
