The ISCAR 2301623 is a right-hand indexable grooving and cut-off toolholder in the PentaCut series, designed for precision grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It accepts PENTA 24 series inserts secured by a screw clamping method, providing rigid, repeatable insert positioning under heavy cutting loads. The toolholder features a 16 x 16 mm square shank and an overall length of 120 mm (4.724 inches). It supports groove widths from 0.5 mm to 3.2 mm and a maximum depth of cut of 6.5 mm (0.256 inches). Manufactured to ISO 13399 standards, it is suited for machinists and tooling technicians working in production turning environments.

This toolholder is intended for external grooving and cut-off applications in both light and moderate production turning. The PCH toolholder style mounts to standard square-shank tool blocks on manual and CNC lathes. Coolant-through capability is not available on this model. The right-hand orientation is the standard configuration for conventional turning setups.

Installation Notes
