The IPEX 9854025 is a 2-piece Van Stone flange fitting manufactured from Corzan CPVC Schedule 80 thermoplastic. The assembly consists of a connector hub and a separate CPVC flange ring, allowing the ring to rotate freely for bolt-hole alignment during installation. Rated at 2000 PSI at 73 degrees F and suitable for service up to 210 degrees F, this fitting delivers the mechanical strength and chemical resistance required in demanding fluid-handling systems. It is injection molded to meet ASTM F1970 and conforms to ANSI/NSF 14/61 and ANSI B16.5 standards. Licensed plumbers and industrial pipefitters are the typical installers.
This flange is suited for a range of industrial and commercial piping applications where corrosion resistance and pressure integrity are critical. Typical uses include chemical processing lines, industrial plating systems, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage, and wastewater treatment systems. The 2-1/2-inch nominal pipe size with female socket end connections makes it a practical choice for joining CPVC piping runs to flanged equipment, valves, or pumps in Schedule 80 systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for CPVC Schedule 80 piping systems with a 2-1/2-inch nominal pipe size and female socket end connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified industrial pipefitter familiar with CPVC solvent-cement joining procedures per ASTM F493. Depressurize and drain the system completely before cutting into any existing line. Solvent-cement joints require adequate cure time before pressurization; follow the cement manufacturer's cure schedule based on ambient temperature and pipe diameter. Refer to applicable local plumbing codes and ANSI B16.5 bolt-torque guidance for flange assembly.
