The IPEX 9817025 is a 2.5-inch CPVC Schedule 80 45-degree elbow fitting with female socket x female socket end connections. It is rated for 2000 psi at 73 degrees F and handles temperatures up to 210 degrees F, making it well-suited for demanding industrial and commercial fluid handling systems. The fitting is manufactured to ASTM F439 and meets ANSI/NSF 14/61 standards. It joins piping lengths using solvent cement for a leak-free, maintenance-free connection. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting in process piping, chilled water, and industrial chemical systems.
This elbow is designed for use across a wide range of industrial applications including chemical processing, chemical drainage, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, industrial plating, and wastewater treatment systems. Its CPVC construction provides excellent mechanical strength over a broad temperature range and delivers superior hydraulic performance. The light gray finish is standard for Schedule 80 CPVC piping systems and allows easy visual differentiation from Schedule 40 fittings on the job.
Designed for use with 2.5-inch CPVC Schedule 80 pipe and fittings in solvent-cement piping systems. Suitable for chemical processing, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, industrial plating, chemical drainage, and wastewater treatment applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASTM D2846 or ASTM F439 solvent cement joining procedures. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before cutting into existing piping. Use only CPVC-rated solvent cement and primer appropriate for Schedule 80 fittings. Do not use this fitting with incompatible solvents, adhesives, or in applications exceeding its rated temperature or pressure limits.
