The IPEX 9806030 is a 3-inch CPVC Schedule 80 90-degree elbow fitting with a female socket by female socket end connection. Manufactured to ASTM F439 and compliant with ANSI/NSF 14/61, this fitting is designed for pressure piping systems that handle corrosive fluids, elevated temperatures, or treated water. The CPVC construction carries a pressure rating of 2000 psi at 73 degrees F and a temperature rating of 210 degrees F. Solvent cement joining provides a leak-free, maintenance-free connection. The light gray finish is standard for Schedule 80 CPVC thermoplastic fittings. Licensed plumbers and industrial piping contractors install this fitting in both commercial and industrial environments.
This elbow is suited for a wide range of demanding applications including chemical processing, chemical drainage, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, industrial plating operations, and wastewater treatment systems. Its mechanical strength and resistance to corrosive media make it a practical choice wherever metal fittings would be subject to chemical attack or where system weight is a concern. Packaging is 5 fittings per carton, making it easy to stock for larger installations or service calls.
Designed for use in Schedule 80 CPVC pressure piping systems requiring a 3-inch, 90-degree change of direction. Compatible with solvent-cement joining methods per ASTM F493 using CPVC-rated cement. Applicable in chemical processing, chemical drainage, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, industrial plating, and wastewater treatment systems as stated in product specifications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified industrial piping contractor familiar with CPVC solvent cement procedures. Depressurize and drain the line fully before cutting into any existing system. Use only CPVC-rated solvent cement and primer; do not use PVC cement on CPVC fittings. Allow full cure time per cement manufacturer instructions before pressurizing the system.
