The IPEX 59625 is a CPVC Schedule 80 socket-by-socket reducer coupling designed for industrial piping systems that require a transition between two different pipe diameters. Manufactured using Corzan CPVC material, this fitting delivers the chemical resistance and pressure performance expected from Schedule 80 fittings in demanding process and industrial environments. The 2-inch by 1-1/4-inch size accommodates a common step-down transition and is assembled from certified CPVC components. Licensed plumbers and industrial pipefitters install this fitting in systems carrying corrosive fluids, high-purity water, or other media compatible with CPVC.
This reducer coupling is suited for industrial fluid handling applications including chemical processing, water treatment, and industrial plumbing systems. It is part of the Xirtec CPVC product line, which is designed for use with other Xirtec CPVC pipe and fittings. The socket-by-socket end configuration accepts solvent-cement connections on both ends, making it compatible with standard CPVC solvent welding procedures used in Schedule 80 piping systems.
Designed for use with Xirtec CPVC Schedule 80 pipe and fittings in industrial piping applications. Compatible with standard CPVC solvent cement and primer per applicable installation standards.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or industrial pipefitters familiar with solvent-welded CPVC systems. Pipe ends must be cut square, deburred, and cleaned before applying primer and solvent cement in accordance with ASTM F493 and the fitting manufacturer guidelines. Allow adequate cure time before pressurizing the system. Do not use this fitting with pipe schedules, materials, or solvents outside the Xirtec CPVC system recommendations.
