Product Description

The IPEX 52482 is a 3-inch PVC Tru-Union ball check valve designed to allow one-directional flow and prevent backflow in non-metallic piping systems. The union construction allows the valve body to be removed from the line without disturbing the pipe connections, simplifying service and inspection. Socket ends provide a solvent-weld connection to standard schedule 40 or 80 PVC pipe. EPDM seals offer good resistance to water, mild chemicals, and common pool and irrigation media. Licensed plumbers and irrigation technicians are the primary installers of this valve type.

This valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, pool and spa circulation, irrigation, and chemical feed applications where PVC piping is used.
