The IPEX 416030F is a Schedule 40 PVC 22.5-degree elbow fitting designed for use in pressure piping systems. Manufactured from Type 1 PVC with a white finish, this slip-by-slip elbow provides a 22.5-degree change in direction and is rated for 250 psi at 73 degrees F. It is injection molded and carries NSF/ANSI 14 and 61G certification, making it suitable for potable water contact. Licensed plumbers and irrigation contractors are the primary installers of this fitting across residential and commercial applications.
This elbow is used across a broad range of piping systems including irrigation, plumbing, industrial process lines, pool and spa systems, and drinking water service. The 3-inch slip connections accept standard Schedule 40 PVC pipe for solvent-welded joints. Its lead-free construction makes it compliant with drinking water system requirements at the point of installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 3-inch Schedule 40 PVC piping systems in irrigation, plumbing, industrial, pool and spa, and drinking water applications.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified irrigation contractors following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing line. Use a compatible PVC primer and solvent cement rated for Schedule 40 pressure fittings, and allow full cure time before restoring system pressure. Do not apply heat to PVC fittings or exceed the rated pressure and temperature limits.
