The IPEX 41152 is a 15-inch diameter PVC SDR 35 gasketed sewer pipe, manufactured to ASTM D3034 and IB standards. It is produced in green-colored PVC for straightforward field identification as a sewer application pipe. The gasketed bell end provides a positive, leak-resistant joint without solvent cement, speeding up installation in gravity sewer runs. At 13 feet in length, this pipe is a standard stick size for mainline sewer work in residential and light commercial installations. SDR 35 wall geometry delivers the stiffness class required by most municipal and private gravity sewer specifications.
This pipe is used in underground gravity sewer systems where the pipe is not under continuous internal pressure. Typical installations include sanitary sewer mains, building sewer laterals, and storm drainage runs. The large 15-inch diameter makes it appropriate for collector mains and high-flow gravity drainage infrastructure. Licensed plumbers and civil contractors are the primary installers in both new-construction and replacement projects.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation pipe for underground gravity sewer and storm drainage systems built to ASTM D3034 SDR 35 specifications.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified utility contractor in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and local authority requirements. Trench preparation, bedding material, and burial depth must conform to ASTM D2321 and local jurisdiction specifications for flexible PVC sewer pipe. Inspect the gasket and bell socket for debris before assembly, and lubricate the gasket with approved pipe lubricant prior to pushing the joint home. Never use petroleum-based lubricants on PVC gaskets, as they can degrade the seal material.
