The IPEX 36345 is a 3/4-inch PVC Schedule 80 two-piece flange fitting designed for industrial and commercial piping systems. It is part of the IPEX Xirtec PVC system, a fully integrated pipe, valves, and fittings lineup engineered and manufactured to a single set of dimensional and performance standards. The fitting handles pressure service up to 140 degrees F and intermittent gravity flow up to 180 degrees F. Its smooth interior bore resists rust, scale, pitting, and corrosion across a broad range of process fluids. Licensed plumbers and industrial pipefitters typically install this component in chemical process, water treatment, and industrial fluid-handling applications.
This flange is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial installations where PVC Schedule 80 components are specified. It is engineered for use with most acids, alcohols, alkalis, salt solutions, and halogens, making it appropriate for aggressive chemical service environments. The Xirtec PVC system is designed to eliminate compatibility issues that arise when mixing components from multiple manufacturers, providing consistent dimensional tolerances throughout the piping assembly. It is also listed with the National Sanitation Foundation and CSA International for use with potable water systems.
Designed for use within the IPEX Xirtec PVC Schedule 80 pipe, valves, and fittings system. Suitable for chemical process piping, potable water systems, and other industrial fluid-handling applications requiring Schedule 80 PVC fittings at 3/4-inch nominal size.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified industrial pipefitter in accordance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC. Depressurize and drain the line completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Use only PVC-rated solvent cement and primer appropriate for Schedule 80 systems. Do not exceed the rated service temperature or pressure for the fitting material.
