The IPEX 200p8090dsch80elb is a 2-inch Schedule 80 PVC conduit 90-degree elbow with plain ends. It is used to redirect electrical conduit runs at a right angle within raceway systems. Schedule 80 PVC offers a thicker wall than Schedule 40, providing greater impact resistance and crush strength in demanding environments. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of rigid PVC conduit systems in both above-grade and below-grade applications. Plain-end construction allows field cementing for a secure, solvent-welded joint.
This elbow is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations where rigid PVC conduit is specified. It is commonly used in underground conduit runs, in concrete encasement, and in exposed locations where metal conduit is not required or desired. The 90-degree sweep redirects conductors through bend points without sharp transitions that could damage wire insulation during pull-through.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 2-inch Schedule 80 PVC electrical conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits in the conduit run before beginning work. Clean and dry all mating surfaces before applying solvent cement, and allow full cure time before pulling conductors. Do not use this fitting with Schedule 40 conduit systems where Schedule 80 fittings are specified, as wall thickness and seating depth differ.
