The IPEX 200p4030dsch40elb is a 2-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit elbow designed for electrical raceway installations requiring a 30-degree change in direction. Built from rigid PVC with a standard-radius bend of 9.5 inches, this elbow provides a smooth wire-pulling path that reduces conductor stress during pull-through. The plain-end configuration accepts standard PVC conduit cement for solvent-welded joints. Electricians install this fitting in both exposed and concealed conduit runs where a moderate directional change is needed without the tight geometry of a 45-degree or 90-degree fitting.
This elbow is suited for residential and commercial electrical conduit systems where Schedule 40 PVC raceway is specified. It fits standard 2-inch trade-size PVC conduit and is appropriate for direct-burial, concrete-encased, and above-grade applications where PVC conduit is code-permitted. The 30-degree angle is commonly used in service-entrance runs, panel feeds, and underground duct banks where gradual routing transitions are required to meet minimum bend-radius requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 2-inch trade-size Schedule 40 PVC electrical conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits in the affected raceway before pulling conductors. Clean and dry mating surfaces before applying PVC conduit cement; allow adequate cure time before pulling wire. Do not use this fitting with Schedule 80 conduit without verifying dimensional compatibility at the joint.
