The IPEX 034p4030dsch40elb is a 3/4-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit elbow with a 30-degree bend angle and plain ends. It is used to redirect electrical conduit runs at a 30-degree angle in both residential and commercial wiring installations. Constructed from Schedule 40 PVC, it offers a lightweight, corrosion-resistant option for raceway systems where a shallow directional change is needed. The plain-end configuration allows field cutting and solvent cementing to standard PVC conduit fittings. Electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this fitting.
This elbow is suited for use in Schedule 40 PVC conduit systems installed in exposed or concealed locations, including underground runs, concrete encasement, and above-slab applications where code permits non-metallic conduit. The 30-degree angle provides a gradual transition that reduces wire-pull friction compared to steeper bends. It is commonly used in residential service entrances, commercial branch circuit raceways, and site utility work where PVC conduit is the specified raceway material.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting compatible with 3/4-inch Schedule 40 PVC electrical conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) Article 352 governing rigid PVC conduit. De-energize all circuits in the affected raceway before beginning work. Use appropriate PVC conduit solvent cement and primer on plain ends; allow adequate cure time before pulling wire. Do not exceed the conduit fill limits specified in NEC Chapter 9 tables.
