The INTERTAPE POLYMER GROUP PMD36 is a dark blue crepe paper masking tape engineered for professional painting and surface-protection applications. It features a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that maintains adhesion under direct sunlight exposure for up to fourteen days without adhesive transfer or edge bleed. Each roll measures 1.41 inches wide by 60 yards long, giving installers and finishing crews extended run length per roll. The crepe paper backing conforms to contoured surfaces and tears cleanly by hand, reducing prep time on the job site. This tape is sold in a package quantity of twenty rolls.
PMD36 is suited for residential and light commercial painting projects where exterior or interior masking must hold through extended exposure windows. Typical applications include window and trim masking, wall-to-ceiling lines, and surface protection on HVAC and mechanical enclosures during paint or coating work. The fourteen-day UV-resistance rating makes it practical for staged construction schedules where masking goes on well before the final coat is applied.
Designed as a general-purpose UV-resistant masking tape for use on painted surfaces, glass, metal trim, and similar substrates in residential and commercial painting applications.
Apply to clean, dry surfaces free of dust, oil, and loose paint for best adhesion and clean removal. Press tape edges firmly to prevent paint bleed, particularly on textured surfaces. Remove tape within the rated fourteen-day exposure window to avoid adhesive residue and difficult removal. Follow local VOC and surface-prep requirements when used in conjunction with coatings on HVAC or mechanical equipment.
