The INTELLINET 347372 is a Cat6 UTP patch cord designed for structured network wiring in commercial and residential installations. The cable terminates with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends and measures 0.5 feet (0.15 meters) in length. Cat6 cabling supports Gigabit Ethernet and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure. The white jacket finish aids in visual cable identification in patch panel environments. Network technicians and low-voltage installers use this type of short patch cord for high-density switch, router, and patch panel connections where minimal slack is preferred.
This patch cord is suited for data closets, server racks, and wall-outlet-to-device connections in office, commercial, and light industrial environments. The 0.5-foot length is particularly practical for patch panel to switch connections in 1U or 2U rack configurations where longer cables create unnecessary bundle congestion. It is also used in AV and security installations that rely on structured Cat6 cabling infrastructure.
Designed as a standard Cat6 UTP patch cord compatible with RJ-45 ports on network switches, patch panels, routers, and other 8P8C-terminated Ethernet equipment following TIA-568 Cat6 wiring standards.
Installation is performed by low-voltage network technicians or structured cabling professionals. No tools are required for connection — simply seat the RJ-45 connector firmly into the port until the locking tab clicks. Ensure the patch panel or keystone jack field terminations meet Cat6 standards to maintain channel performance. Avoid sharp bends or kinks that exceed the cable minimum bend radius.
