The INTELLINET 341974 is a Cat6 patch cord designed for high-performance copper network installations in commercial and residential environments. This 10-foot cable supports data speeds up to 10 Gbps at an operating frequency of 250 MHz, making it suitable for demanding switched Ethernet environments. It uses stranded 24 AWG pure bare copper conductors and RJ45 male connectors with gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance and long-term signal integrity. The white PVC jacket provides clean, professional routing through racks, wiring closets, equipment rooms, and open office deployments. A snag-free molded boot with integrated strain relief protects the latch tab during installation and repeated handling.
This patch cord is used for horizontal and vertical patch field connections in structured cabling systems. Typical applications include terminating runs between patch panels and switches, connecting workstations to wall jacks, and linking network devices on equipment racks. The 10-foot length accommodates standard rack-to-rack and rack-to-workstation distances without excess slack. It is backward compatible with Cat5e infrastructure and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, making it usable in IP camera, VoIP, and wireless access point deployments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard patch cable for Cat6 and Cat5e structured cabling systems using RJ45 terminations.
Network technicians and low-voltage cabling installers handle Cat6 patch cord terminations. No tools are required for this pre-terminated cable. Route cable away from high-voltage conduit runs in accordance with NEC Article 800 guidelines for communications wiring. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius to prevent pair distortion and signal degradation.
