The INSINKERATOR 44017 is an under-sink hot water dispenser tank and filtration system designed for residential and light commercial applications where on-demand near-boiling water is required. The stainless steel insulated tank heats water to between 160 and 210 degrees F, with a boiling-point rating of 200 degrees F, delivering up to 60 cups per hour. The system draws 750 watts at 115 volts AC and 6.25 amps, connecting to a standard grounded three-prong outlet. A licensed plumber or qualified installer typically handles this unit as part of a sink or countertop hot water setup.
The 44017 is suited for residential kitchens, office break rooms, or light commercial countertop stations where instant hot water is needed without a full water heater. The kit includes the HWT-F1000S stainless steel tank, the F-1000S water filtration system, an adjustable snap-action thermostat, and a grounded three-prong plug. Supply pressure must fall within 30 to 125 psi. The integrated filtration system reduces sediment and contaminants before water enters the tank, making it appropriate for applications where water quality is a concern.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or complete system install for under-sink hot water dispenser setups requiring a stainless steel tank paired with inline filtration; includes the HWT-F1000S tank and F-1000S filtration system as a matched assembly.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the cold water supply and disconnect power at the outlet before servicing or connecting the tank. The supply line must deliver pressure within the 30 to 125 psi rated range; install a pressure regulator upstream if site pressure exceeds this range. Do not energize the unit before the tank is fully filled with water.
