The INNOVAIR sov24h2ba is a 2-ton slim-profile heat pump condenser unit from the SLIM4 Series, designed for split-system heating and cooling applications. It runs on 208/230 volts, single-phase, 60 Hz power and draws 19 amps, with a 20-amp fuse rating. The unit delivers 24000 BTU/h of heating capacity and carries an 18.3 SEER and 10 HSPF rating, making it a solid performer for residential and light-commercial installations. The rotary compressor operates with R-454B refrigerant, a low-GWP A2L refrigerant that meets current and upcoming efficiency and environmental standards. Licensed HVAC technicians handle procurement and installation of this equipment.
The sov24h2ba is suited for residential and light-commercial split heat pump systems where a slim condenser footprint is required. Its compact profile at 13.46 inches deep, 35.04 inches wide, and 26.5 inches tall fits constrained installation sites such as side yards and equipment pads with limited clearance. The unit connects via flared fittings on a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 3/4-inch suction line. The heating operating temperature range of -22 degrees F to 75 degrees F supports cold-climate applications where standard heat pumps lose efficiency at lower ambient temperatures.
Designed as an OEM-matched outdoor condenser for INNOVAIR SLIM4 Series split heat pump systems requiring a 2-ton, R-454B-compatible outdoor unit with flared line connections.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification, as R-454B is an A2L mildly flammable refrigerant with specific handling requirements. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing the unit or making refrigerant connections. Flared line connections require properly sized flare tools and should be torqued according to the manufacturer-supplied installation manual, not general-purpose reference values. Follow local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation manual for minimum clearances, pad mounting, and line set requirements.
