The INNOVAIR qos18h2xe5a is an 18,000 BTU/h high-wall mini split heat pump outdoor condenser unit from the Q32 Series, designed for both heating and cooling in residential and light commercial applications. Operating on 208-230 volts, single phase, 60 Hz, and rated at 1,349 watts, this unit uses R-32 refrigerant and features an inverter-driven rotary compressor for variable-speed capacity control. It carries a 21 SEER rating for cooling efficiency and a 9.8 HSPF rating for heating efficiency. Licensed HVAC technicians install this unit as part of a complete ductless mini split system paired with a compatible indoor air handler.
This outdoor condenser is suited for single-zone residential installations such as room additions, sunrooms, converted spaces, or whole-room climate control where ducted systems are impractical. Rated at 1.5 tons, it delivers 18,000 BTU/h in both heating and cooling modes. The heating operating range extends from -4 degrees F to 75 degrees F, and the cooling operating range spans 5 degrees F to 118 degrees F, making it functional across a wide range of climates. A 647 CFM cooling airflow rating and 56 dBA heating sound level round out its field performance profile.
Designed for use as the outdoor condenser unit in a matched INNOVAIR Q32 Series ductless mini split system. Pair with a compatible INNOVAIR Q32 Series indoor air handler rated for 18,000 BTU/h at 208-230 volts.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before making refrigerant or electrical connections. R-32 is an A2L mildly flammable refrigerant — follow applicable handling, recovery, and safety procedures per EPA Section 608 regulations and local codes. Ensure the mounting surface and any bracket hardware are rated to support the unit's installed weight before securing the condenser.
