The INNOVAIR qhw12h1uzra is a 12000 BTU/h ductless mini split heat pump designed for high-wall installation in residential and light commercial spaces. Operating on 115 volts, single-phase, 60 Hz power, this unit uses R454B refrigerant, an A2L low-GWP alternative to legacy refrigerants. It belongs to the INNOVAIR Q Series universal high-wall platform. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning, including system evacuation and refrigerant handling under EPA Section 608 certification requirements.
This unit is suited for single-zone heating and cooling applications in residential rooms, small offices, and similar spaces where a dedicated ductless system is preferred. The 115-volt single-phase electrical requirement makes it compatible with standard residential electrical service without the need for a dedicated 230-volt circuit. As part of the Q Series high-wall line, it is intended for wall-mounted indoor head installations paired with a compatible outdoor condenser unit.
Designed as an OEM-style component within the INNOVAIR Q4 High Wall mini split system line. Confirm outdoor unit compatibility with the specific Q Series model before ordering.
Installation must be performed by an EPA Section 608 certified HVAC technician due to the A2L classification of R454B refrigerant, which requires attention to ignition source control during service. Shut off all electrical power to the system at the disconnect and breaker before beginning any work on the indoor head or refrigerant lines. Line set connections should be properly torqued per the manufacturer service manual and leak-tested before system startup. Follow all applicable local mechanical and electrical codes, including NEC requirements for disconnecting means and circuit protection.
