The INGERSOLL RAND 1RPNC1 is an inline-handle pneumatic screwdriver designed for precision fastening in production, assembly, and mechanical service environments. Powered by compressed air, it delivers a no-load speed of 1,000 RPM and a torque output range of 2.7 to 30.1 in/lb, making it well suited for light to medium fastening tasks that require controlled, repeatable results. The 1/4 inch bit holder accepts standard hex bits for quick changeovers. With a cushion clutch mechanism available in both lever-start and push-to-start configurations, the tool provides smooth torque shutoff that helps protect fasteners and mating surfaces from overdrive.
This air screwdriver is used in residential and commercial maintenance, light manufacturing, and trade service work where electric tools are impractical or where consistent torque output is a priority. The inline handle orientation keeps the tool compact and well balanced in tight or repetitive-access applications. It requires a compressed air supply and is connected via a standard 1/8 inch NPT inlet fitting. Air consumption runs at 13 CFM, so an adequately sized compressor and air line are required for sustained operation.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 inch hex shank driver bits and 1/8 inch NPT pneumatic fittings. Suitable for general assembly and fastening applications requiring controlled torque output in an inline pneumatic screwdriver format.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic tool safety. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure is within the tool's rated operating range and that the air supply is clean and dry to prevent internal wear. Use a properly rated inline oiler and regulator to maintain tool performance and service life. Always disconnect the air supply before changing bits or performing any maintenance.
