The INGERSOLL CUTTING TOOLS 6139346 is a carbide indexable drill insert designed for use with compatible QR-style indexable drills. Manufactured to the SOMT070306PS ANSI and ISO designation, this square-shaped insert features a micrograin carbide substrate with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN dual coating. The IN2505 grade delivers wear resistance and thermal stability across a range of demanding workpiece materials. With four usable cutting edges and a positive rake geometry, it provides efficient chip formation and reduced cutting forces. The 0.268-inch inscribed circle and 0.024-inch corner radius define its cutting geometry. Machinists and CNC operators working in production drilling applications are the primary users.

This insert is suited for indexable drilling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, S, and H.
