The Weldon flat shank with three flats provides a secure grip in compatible chucks and prevents slippage under load. At 3-3/4 inches overall length with a 2-1/4 inch flute, this bit is sized for standard mechanics drilling tasks. Right-hand cut with a regular spiral flute and web-thinned, parallel web construction rounds out the geometry for efficient chip evacuation.
